Bath Botanical Gardens – the second oldest botanical garden in existence in the Western Hemisphere, established in 1779. Many of the plants introduced to Jamaica were first planted in this garden.  The gardens are much smaller today than when first established in 1779, but the Government of Jamaica is in the process of bringing it back to its former glory.
