San San Beach

San San Beach, one of the most famous stretch of pure white sand in all of Jamaica.

This is the beach to go to if you want to don your snorkeling gear to explore the local marine life. A reef just offshore is teeming with fish of all description

The beach has lifeguards, showers, and a picnic area with grills. In winter, waves washing ashore make this one of the best places along the northeast coast for windsurfing.

The little island you see offshore goes by various names: Monkey Island, Woods Island, Pellow Island, and Princess Island.

Many visitors swim to the islet from San San Beach; if you try it, watch for spiny sea urchins as you step ashore.
